Hi all

Rotella T5 10w-30 ok for my B2620? Anything better to recommend?

Also, I've noticed something odd about my LA364 FEL. When sitting in the seat and the FEL is down lower it seems like it is off-center by maybe an inch or a little more to the left. My brackets on the tractor seem to be OK so I'm not sure if somehow I could have damaged it?

Here's a pic of the FEL issue, definitely not centered.

Thanks for reading.

I like the 5w-40 HDEO for all season protection. Philip.

That's the T6 version correct?

Can't tell ya. Almost all major manufacturers blend a 5w-40 HDEO. I use Mobil 1 5w-40 TDT myself. But, I think Shell only has one 5w-40 HDEO. Philip.

I think it is.

Rotella T-5 is what went into my Kubota at the 50 hour service. Next time, I'll likely use the T-6, synthetic, but I don't think the engine cares a bit one way or the other. :D

On the FEL/Bucket issue, it is really hard to tell. I know pictures depend on the angle you are viewing etc..

Here is a pic of mine (B2920), and although it seems straight to me, others may look at the pic and think otherwise. In this pic, I was standing on the tractor looking down towards the bucket, trying my best to keep the camera level, ha.

Is the hook on your bucket dead center? If so, what I would do is raise the bucket kind of like you did so it is level with the hood emblem. Then take a long straight edge and place it along the center of the hook, and on the center of the hood emblem, and see if the end of the straight edge crosses over the center of the gas cap or steering wheel. I am assuming all those are centered of course.

Another thought. You could put the bucket flush on the ground. Then take a long edge along side the outer side (on the ground), and measure the distance from the outer edge of the tire to the outer edge of the bucket. Then do the same on the other side. They should be pretty close I would think.

My B3200 loader is off center to the left about a 1/2". I know I have not bent it so my guess is the Kubota jig is off just a bit when they weld them up or else the welder had just a little too much moonshine.
