I was using my 9n the other day leveling out some dirt with my scrape blade and got to noticing a little binding when trying to change gears from reverse to first and some clanking sound out of the left rear axle also was acting like the brake were stuck but the kicker is when you put the pto lever to off position every things fine shifts good no noises or binding I'm not shour exactly where to start looking for the problem. I'm wondering if anyone has run into this before any advice would greatly be appreciated thank's

since the pto is running a hyd pump and it's all off the non live clutch, it's all semi-related.

check to make sur ethe bellhousing drain at the clutch / block mating point is open. wet clutches will make them sticky and drag
