990 rear tires

I see that the 990 had size 28 rear tires and the 790 has 19.5

Any way I could put a turf tire that is shorter in height on the 990

maybe 24,22, or even 19.5 .

I like the horse power and frame size of 990 just would like it a little shorter ??

Yep... Deere offers the 990 with 44x18x20 R3 (turf tires). And, Welcome to TBN!
