96 john deere 5300 transmission

I tried to look on tractordata but did not see info.

Is the 9F3R manual transmission synchronized or not? I'd love to hold out for a power reverser but this seems like a pretty good deal if transmission is at least synchronized. I will be doing a fair bit of direction changes but mowing mostly.

Just a guess but most are syncronized within a chosen range. You should have a choice between three forward gears and a reverse. My old 8f 2r with park in an 820 (1974) was easy to shuttle between forward and reverse.
