Anybody got such a bucket? Not interested in 108" buckets.

Yeah, I've got pallet forks, but since I'm thinking about big buckets, it'd be nice if they could haul a few sheets of plywood, perhaps with more stability than I'm likely to achieve on my pallet forks.

Best to actually measure the bucket you are considering. Many will not be 96" inside. Next to none will have a 25" deep floor that will keep a 4' wide sheet from simply tipping out frontwards.

If you think plywood on a set of pallet forks would be unstable maybe you need a truck bed to haul them with. Working construction on unstable excavation sites that was all we ever used.
Would suggest finding a 8' pallet and strap the plywood to it.

Any pool store selling hot tubs will have plenty of large pallets sitting out back.

Looking at these specs: https://cdn-assets.greatplainsmfg.com/ari/attach/lp/public/specs/381-192sk.pdf
the "working depth" is 41.25 inches. However the gussets (size unknown) might remove a few inches. Either way, it'd be a lot more than 25 inches deep, I think.

Re other comments on inner width, yup, that's why I'm asking here :) Some buckets post inner width specs, some don't.

On a completely unrelated topic, TBN didn't notify me that any of you replied. Curious. And it isn't in my spam folder.

That is an unusually large and heavy bucket to hang on an MX5400. Over 1/3 of your lift capacity will be dedicated to raising the empty bucket.
Twice the weight, almost twice as deep (as you say) and two feet wider than the standard bucket for the LA1065 spec'ed below.

Width, in (mm) ............ 72 (1830)
Depth, in (mm) ............ 21.5 (247)
Height, in (mm) ............ 22.4 (570)
Length, in (mm) ............ 25.7 (652)
Capacity (Struck), cu.ft (m3) ............ 10.9 (0.31)
Capacity (Heaped), cu.ft (m3) ............ 13.1 (0.37)
Weight, lbs (kg) ............ 320 (146)

But have fun.

That’s going to be a mammoth of a bucket and pretty worthless for anything else. I know your frustrations with attempting to carry loose plywood. What about building some side rails on the forks to stop it from sliding off? When I was machine shopping the ability to lift a full bundle of advantec was an important criteria because once you cut the straps it’s sliding everywhere. The Kubota SVL 75 isn’t thrilled with the idea but it will do it.

Actually my primary use for this bucket is leaves and debris, so while the massive weight/size of the LM2596 is a concern, I won't be adding much to it. Though I may use it for mulch, but I won't be able to fill it, that's okay. it'll still carry more than my 9 cu ft heavy duty bucket. I was just thinking if I'm going to get a huge bucket, it would be nice if if could actually fit some sheets of plywood. The LM2596 also happens to be the only thing my dealer has on the lot, though it's very expensive and I may pass.

I was thinking they 96" was too wide, but then I recall the logs and such I carry in the grapple and I realized I carry wide loads all the time. I already have a standard L2296 bucket for my LA1065 loader. It's great for heavy work. But tiny for yard cleanup assists, and I have a lot of yard + gardens to clean up.

The other bucket I'm thinking about this one with a massive 49" depth. 84-in High Capacity Skid Steer Bucket

It will also look completely ridiculous on my tractor, but it won't fit plywood :)

Check your settings.
I don't use email, I just click "My Home" at the top when I have time to see what is happening.
