Some of you have seen my Mum on here using my bota before in years past. She is visiting again, last time she was here was a year and a half ago. I always ask her if she wants to drive the tractor. Usually she says yes. This time she said, "I don't know, I am shakey." I told her no one would know, you will be mowing. As usual, she had a blast! Now everytime I go outside, she asks what I am doing and if I'll be using the tractor. (Like she always has!)

And yes, I put up the ROPS and fastened the seatbelt!

Deano,

What no ear plugs or hearing protection!

These are great pictures and glad to see your Mom is in great shape for 93. You are very fortunate to have her with you and in such fine form!

My dad passed at 91 and I have some pics of him (not digital) of him on my B21 happily digging I will keep forever.

Thanks for sharing.

Carl

Man that's awesome! Cherish her while you still have her.

OT: Why not let the horses eat the grass ;-)

Good for her. Older folks don't mind working sometimes, can't say the same for some of the younger. I have an older friend that tells me work will add ten years on your life.

ROPS up, seat belt on, where's the cold water in the cup holder?

I used to say my dad's hobby was mowing. If he was coming to visit I would let the grass grow longer so he would have something to do. One weekend I had some fill dirt delivered and we spent the weekend doing that. He was on my JD 318 with a rear bucket scoop. He would back up to the pile, get the dirt and then take it to where I was pointing. I would trip the bucket and rake it out while he went back for more. We moved a lot of dirt that afternoon.

Take Care,
Doug in SW IA

Fantastic photos, I grinned through all of them.

(might not be grazing the horses due to them being drafts..those gain weight really easy! Or could be mowing down for the horses, they don't often prefer long grass)

I respect her outlook on life, in regards to staying active. Good for her. I enjoyed the post and the pictures.
