Mowing 914 mower bearings

Does anyone know the bearing numbers for the spindle bearings on a Ford/NH 914 60" mid mount mower deck? I'd like to avoid the dealers/distributors/middlemen/ markups, so I don't want the NH part numbers, but the actual numbers from the bearings. Seals too if you have it.

Most of the time the bearings and seals will have the manufacturers # on them, sometimes pretty small. Not always but most of the time. On bearings you get what you pay for. There are cheaper bearings out there and they don't last. Some bearing specialty shops can cross over OEM (NH, JD, ETC) numbers.

The idea is to assemble the parts before disassembly right? I'd like to minimize downtime.
You do get what you pay for in bearings, just not at the dealer. You can get any bearing at any quality level at my local bearing supply house. The dealer can't offer anything near that selection or price.

Paul, I've rebuilt two Woods mowers and on Brush Hog and I just take out the old bearings and seal and take it to the local bearing supply shop. If you get Timken bearings or something comperable and CR seals (or something comparable) you'll do just fine. Most reputable shops won't sell junk anyway. On the seal side, make sure however, they don't substitue a single lip seal in place of and original double. You're right on pricing, most times I've been able to get the bearings for about half the price. Good Luck. Here in Michigan, I always go to a Detroit Ball Bearing outlet, which are in most of the larger cities throughout the state.
