Does anyone on the board operate skid steer snow blowers, flail mowers, augers or other hyd. Motor driven skid steer implements off their 90-110hp or similar sized tractors ? I think the rops version of my m5-111 is in the range of 15gpm. Should I be looking at adding a PTO hydraulic pump to power these sort of implements? I was hoping I could get away with just running them off a rear remote. Maybe adding an additional 3rd function to the front end as well.

About 15 years ago, I ran a John Deere roll bar hydraulic rake with my rear hydraulic remotes on my M-7040.
One downside was the hydraulic fluid will get hot after constant use.
Look at the attachments consumption (GPM) requirements to match correctly.
Usually the front end functions are lower supply rates and only suited for momentary use (grapple, angle snowplow, etc) not constant use

im thinking of adding a 3rd function for grapple or momentary functions like you describe. the motor driven hyd attachments i would run off the rear remotes. im guessing adding an additional hyd cooler would be beneficial?

You need a high flow hydraulic system and a separate hydraulic tank mounted on the three point hitch with a 30 G.P.M. pump attached to the power take off to run hydraulic motor driven attachments.

15 gpm will be at the bottom end of a flail mower or snow blower. You’ll want a pto power pack with higher flow to get good performance.

Lot of skidsteers have a third QDs for a case drain for hydraulic motors. For tractor or 3pt hydraulic packs your looking at 3 lines.
FEL hydraulic cutters usually need free flow on the discharge so the cutting disk can spin down after you close the supply. Not how 3rd function or remotes usually operate.
Low speed post auger should work fine.

Only if the motor flow requirements are that high. Many are not. As Hay Dude says, compare the flow requirement specs of the implements you are considering to the tractor 3rd function flow spec.

Do you fellas know.of any low flow attachments? Especially snowblowers or augers

Augers like post hole diggers? Most are standard flow. Snowblowers come with a wide range of flow requirements but many will exceed your tractor's capability. I'm not going to do your research; it's not difficult for you to search specs from manufacturers you are considering.

Im a bit confused as to where you want to run these attachments....Are you looking to run them on the front like a skid steer, or are you using the term skid steer attachments as attachments run off the rear of your tractor?
