9 n plumbing

working on a 9n (1940) have pipes (1/2") on right side of trans case that go to half of a union joint also same area but on the diff have a closed nipple that's just open can some help me to what they are :confused2:

how about a PICTURE!

many people ran things like laoders off the 2.8gpm / 1500-1700 psi belly pump by tapping the test port and chaining the lift arms down. many times this plumbing was done with plain iron pipe hardware store fittings and the like.. could be reminants of it you see.

post a pic.. it really, really is worth 1000 words when trying to describe something non oem on a 70 year old tractor.
