Oil & Fuel 830 fuel cosumption

I'm looking to buy a 730 or 830 Case and am wondering in anyone can tell me the diference in fuel consumption between a gas or diesel? Thanks.

I have read and experienced that a ratio of 5/8 gallon of diesel to 1 gallon of gas. Some have reported 1/2 gallon of diesel to 1 gallon of gas. this is working a tractor or mower under load such as Brush cutting with a rotary mower.

I have an 830 and it really likes gas. Parts for the diesels are available aftermarket and are cheaper too. I'd be looking at a diesel.

i got a 800 LP & love it cheaper than gas, never gos stail never turns to varnish, i can fill it off of my home tank
