NH TC34
Hi, I have a TC 34 and am looking at a 8 foot sweepster. I'm wandering if its to big to use. The weight of the brrom is around 1000 lbs. My three point can lift
1635 lbs so i dont think this would be an issue. I'm not sure how much hp is needed to turn the broom. Can anyone give me any clues if this would work or not.

Thanks
Russ

My experience would be to recommend a 6-ft. Sweepster three-point broom. You will pick up an 8-ft. OK, but when you put the broom on the ground to sweep the angle of the broom will put a lot of side load on your tractor. In short, an 8-ft. broom will push your tractor around too much.
