Snowblower 8.5 Hanson Equipment Co Snowblower Gearbox Parts

Hello, I am hoping someone might have some info on this but I fear I may not be able to find parts. I have a Hanson Equipment Co. Snowblower model 101808 that the gearbox just blew apart on. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? Possible off another Hanson or if other blowers uses the same gearbox?

snow blower manufacturers would use off the shelf gearboxes to save money, rather than having one custom made, the problem is finding which one will fit. maybe it's better to have a machine shop that makes gears fix yours?. if it's just the case that cracked, a good welder can fix that.. then you'd have a good machine shop make any necessary adjustments for clearances and alignment from the welding.. some good info here about Boston Gear. https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/snow-removal/328765-snowblower-gearbox.html
