I just returned from Rural King with a King Kutter 6 foot back blade. I got lucking and they went on sale this week. I got it put on and I'm ready for winter snow plowing. I've even sprayed it down with some dry lube. I'm glad I got the 790. It's just big enough to get the blade out of the truck bed. Anything smaller and the blade would still be in the truck bed.
I also stopped at Menards Lumber and bought a furniture dolly. My idea is to make a dolly from the casters for the back blade when I'm not using it and make mounting and removal easier. Would you believe that one 4-inch dolly alone was $13.00, while the furniture dolly with four of the same 4-inch dollies was less than $20.00. Go figure.
One other project is to attach some mirrors to help with snow plowing. I figure some angle iron with 3 to 4 stout magnets epoxied to it could mount to the FEL uprights. Then just attached mirrors to the top of the angle iron. They could be easily removed when not needed and would probably be knocked off if I get into some brush without much damage. I'll post any pic's when I'm done ( if it works out that is ).
