my dual power has quit working but my light on the dash is working,would the seloniod be the reason for it because it is real rusty ,

The solenoid is just the activator. Does the pto stop and start like it should? Does the traction control work correctly? Do the lift arms work with a load?
If no to any of these get it in high range and get rid of it. Remove the dual power indicator and pedal. Last one I had the seller had removed everything so it looked like a straight 8 speed.
Sell it asap.
