i have got a 7710 ford 4 wheel dr,i cannot get the duall power to work every timewhen i change it.the light comes on , does anyone know what could be wrong.

I've had several floor switches go wrong on 10 series i think the dirt plays **** with them , i have seen some guys run the wires up the side of the shifters and fit a truck type splitter switch !

If the light comes on & off when the switch changes state, the switch is working. Check for power at the solenoid connectiion where the wire enters the clutch housing below the brake pedals. If power is present, ohm the solenoid to ground to check for an open circuit.

what if there is a small hydruaic leak.it will change sometimes ,but it goes in soft. i have a7600 an when you change it it goes in good ,
