I am attempting to learn which backhoes (with a subframe mount) wil fit my 7610. I would like a Kubota but if there are others out there as good in quality and have a subframe they would fine with me. Also what kind of price (setup on the tractor) should I expect to pay for each make? My budget is limited but it looks like I maybe able to swing it (no pun intended) next month. I am located in Southern WV.
Thanks!!!

Woods makes at least one BH for the B series that I am pretty sure has a subframe. Well thought of BH company and reasonable alternative to the Kubota product.

The Kubota B4672A back hoe with sub frame #B4681 will fit. MSRP is $6600.00 plus bucket. You will have to change your ROPS also. Hope this helps.

I am also looking for a back hoe for a B7610. I have a one year old model with a folding ROPS. What is the interference with the ROPS?

The folding ROPS is ok, it is the rigid one that needs to be changed. Interference with the operator's head is probably the reason for the change.

Thanks!
What do you feel is a FAIR price for the BH installed? Are the other "makes" cheaper and of the same quality?

Bradco make a subframe Bh that is a decent hoe. I used one on a B7500 for over two years and never broke it digging stumps and other stuff.
It was not as powerful as the Bh75 I have now and the seat was cheap vinyl but it was a smaller tractor and hoe.

I would recommend one that does have a two cylinder swing system because it is more powerful than a single cylinder and back filling a hole is easier.

Is there anyhting special I need to look for before buying a backhoe other than a sub frame mount? Are they all pretty much the same if you go with a major company?
Thanks

There are differences between the major brands but I think it is fair to say they will all do the job and are reliable.

Today my one local dealer gave me a price of $6800 for the hoe, 16" bucket and install W/subframe for the Kubota hoe. Is this reasonable? Also is the 16" bucket the "normal" bucket or is there a reason to go with a 12" for general use?
