755 top link

I just bought a three pt linkage from ebay for my 755. it was brand new the only thing missing was the top lin. i was wondering if anyone has a 55 series tractor that has the original top link. i need the length of the top link. i dont think just any cat 1 toplink will work. any help would be greatly appreciated

I recently bought this toplink from Northern Tool for my JD 755. It works perfectly well. There's no need for anything special; this is just a basic Cat 1 toplink.

I have an 855 and bought what appears to be the exact same link at Tractor Supply Co. It was just a standard Cat 1 and it works fine. They do have a longer Cat 1 which you probably do not want.

Any Cat I top link should work. They are adjustable, and can be shortened or lengthened to work on a variety of implements.

I don't think any toplink will work as I have a JD 2305 and the standard toplink (14" body) is too long for pitching the box blade forward. In fact, it's shortest length barely reaches level and sometimes I need to pitch it slightly forward. I have been checking around and found a grey market tractor supply store that had them in several body lengths (9", 11", 12.5" and 16"). I went with the 11" and now I can pitch the blade as needed.
