753 cold starting problem

i having trouble starting my machine when the engine is cold i'm in hawaii an it's 80 deg. regularly so its not cold...once the machines been on for a minute or two it'll start fine for the rest of the day as long as the engine is warmed up...

How many hours on the machine? The compression could be low, injectors need rebuilding or could be as simple as charging the battery and cleaning connections. Sometimes a good starter rebuild will spin the engine much better and as a result better starts. At your temperature you shouldn't need to use the glow plugs. Do they work?

the bobcat was givin to me by my uncle and he said the hour counter maxed out 3 or 4 time already this machine is over 20 years old n still go strong but the cold starting problem so not to sure on the hours...i was thinking maybe the cyl. rings might be worn but it has plenty of power.i jus put a new starer battery ground straps ect. my uncle told me before they had problem with the glow plugs so they so he hooked up a soliniod an a push button for them n still they might not work is there anyway to test them? THANKS FOR THE HELP
