Last year I posted a question on here about how to reset the 50 hr service light. I have tried the method that the members here gave me from the manual. This was to use the empty looking port on the fuse box under the hood and trip it with a fuse or wire after turning on the key. I have tried every sequence possible before / during / after key activation and it still will not reset. I disconnected the battery also. No luck. My only other idea is to leave the battery disconnected for quite some time.
My dealer had no ideas over the phone.
Anybody got more advice?
Thanks, Kenny

tydog This is what i did and it worked for me. a] Lift the small fuse cover
situated on left top side of fuse box. b] Put key switch on to 'IG' position.
c] Wait for 10 seconds. d] Short circuit terminals by a wire or fuse link for
a moment. that's all there was to it. it worked for me on the first try. let me know how it goes. how do you like your 7520? how many HR's do you have

7520,
Thanks for the reply. I wish that mine would reset that easy. I tried it again after reading your post, just for giggles. Still nothing!!!!! It came on at the 50 hr mark and has been on ever since. It only "buzzes" upon start up and when it rolls over to another whole hour on the meter. I'm going to call my dealer again.
As far as the whole unit goes, I love it. I moved up from a 4500. I have had a few small issues arise, beside that damned service light though. My neutral safety switch went bad and a small preformed coolant line under the hydraulic filter ruptured. The line looked to have been in a bind (the hard line cut it at the clamp area) since installation. The dealer was more than happy to send me the parts free of charge.
I have noticed on two occasions that during 95+ temps and pretty heavy loads, that the temp hand wants to go little higher than I would have expected. You really need to keep an eye on the radiator screen, but even that did not totally relieve my temp concerns.
I have been a little disappointed with the speed of the hydraulics at anything less than pretty high RPM's. I saw where several others on this board thought the same. The FEL is super strong (pressure) as far as the hydraulics, just a little slower (volume) than I would like. I just do not see the need in running high RPM's during light grading operations.
Mine has 128 hrs and yes I would definitely buy it again.

7520's post does work on 7060 models also. I just went try it on my 7060 with 64 hours on it and it went off right away. Thanks.
