My dealer recomended a 5' rear field mower for the 7510 gear. reading the manual it states a 42" mower. should I change it? I was surprised it would handle one that large and will be more surprised if it does. tony

The 5' mower may be alright; you can always use a lower gear to go slower, you can take half a "bite" at a time if mowing heavy stuff, and if it's too heavy for the 3-point to pick up to transport comfortably, you can leave the tail wheel on the ground even when not mowing, to go from one place to another. In my personal opinion only, a 4' mower would be the optimum size.
