740 loader on jd 3150

Hey everyone. I've posted on here before about putting a loader on my 3150. The problem I'm having is finding the right mounts and hydraulic hook up. My local dealer says the mounts are BW 13 704 mounts for row crop. My question is is this the same for all 50 and 55 series jd tractors? The hydraulics they say is BWA 1073 2 function hydraulic control with single joystick. Is this standard for the same 50 and 55 series also? Thanks for your time.

Mounting frames for Rowcrop & utility tractors are different. Utility tractors require mounting frames that attach to rear axles to keep from breaking clutch housings.

So the 3150 would be the row crop frames right?

Sorry but absolutely not as it's classified by JD as a utility tractor. Parts key #23 in 2nd photo has this in the part description. 19H3671 SCREW 2 5/8" X 2-1/4" (HS, SAE 8) (2955, 3055, 3150, 3155, 3255)

So when I'm looking for the correct mounting frames what all tractors will match up to the 3150?

Thanks abunch. You've helped me a ton. What about the hydraulics? Are they rather easy or hard to locate the correct one?

As long as the hyd valve is closed center then it will work fine. I'd suggest getting a hyd ported filter cover(T31170) for return hose to attach if your tractor doesn't already have one. Photo shows how to plumb the hyd valve. For reference parts key #22 supplies the scv's(rear remotes) on your model tractor
