7360SS problems

. I just bought a 7360 and I'm having a lot of trouble with the shuttle not going into the forward position - sometimes yes and sometimes no. Reverse is OK. It is not the cable or the shuttle shift lever. Any one had the transmission out of this tractor? Also discovered the mfd is not locking in when the engage lever is pushed down. Four wheel drive will work only in reverse, but I seems like the gears are barely meshing. This is all bad news for this new owner! ..... Any ideas are greatly appreciated...... Pete
