So one of the hydraulic rams seal is leaking where the piston enters the cylinder. Are these repairable or should I just purchase a new hydraulic piston. It is one of the pistons that raises and lowers the entire front end loader

It is on a mx5000dt and it is the lb702 loader.

Hi mikeg135 , most of these are rebuildable .
A new cylinder is pricey . Check online for a hydraulic repair shop in your area

Are you saying the Rod is leaking where it enters the cylinder?
Or do you think the piston is leaking in the cylinder?
Some cylinders can be serviced from both ends... others everything will come out of just one end. In any case all cylinders can be repacked and resealed. KennyV

Yep, it is leaking where the piston enters the cylinder. What can one expect to pay for a cylinder rebuild?
