I have a Woods LR72. I think this is the lighter duty range. Nice rake but I did manage to break three or four tines backing into a stump. Not sure the Woods is worth all that much more than the other brands. I previously had a Bush Hog that was just as well made.

I T, you hit the nail on the head. I looked at how the woods was made and was using a york rake and I bought the leinbach rake for it's price and because it seems to be just as well made as the others.

to expand on IT, I'd guess he means others of a similar quality. I have a TSC Farm Force, and it was a complete waste of money. It looks similar, but I should have paid more and got something that my b3030 didn't break the first time I used it. ON A LAWN!!!! :mad::mad::eek:

I also have the Woods LR72 that I picked up used from eBay and I have been very happy with it. They are very pricy though as I think the price of mine new with gauge wheels was around $1300 or so. I paid about 1/2 that :D

If I was buying new I would probably go with Leinbach as their products are very well made and much less $$ than some of the bigger brands. I would stay away from the cheap farmforce etc. rakes. You get what you pay for.
