7-bu (247-L) hopper (cut-and-throw) - How well does it work?

New member here. I am looking to purchase the X304 and would like any feedback on the 7-bu (247-L) hopper (cut-and-throw) for bagging clippings and leaves in the Fall.

I have the same setup. Works great for leaves but there is an art to picking the best day to bag them. The best time is when they are wet with dew, not rain. Too wet and they clog up the chute. Too dry and you will be emptying the bags every 50 feet.

Oh, and get the mulch kit with gator blades and mulch as much as possible rather than bagging all the time.
