68 ford 4000 industrial with fel and backhoe

Your help would be appreciated with a problem my buddy has on his hands. His Ford has dirty hydraulics and water in it, which needs to be changed as soon as quick as he can. My question is, there are two fill plugs, one on the trans and one one the diff, do they both take the same type of fluid or are they much different.

My 4000 uses the same fluid. Front one is for transmission, rear one is for hydraulics.
