Hey all, I'm new to the forum and happy to find some folks with like issues. My first question is this. On a 6500 4wd is the Hyd fluid and transmission fluid tied together, IE do the drain together or separately? Thanks....

Its all in the same reservoir. Shared, so to speak. There are probably several drain plugs to be sure all parts of the reservoir drain when changing fluid.

I cant speak for the 6500 series tractors, but I have a Max25 and it is my understanding that the 2 systems also share fluids. According to my manual, if you drain one... you drain both.
