I'm changing the fuel line from the sediment bowl to the carburetor to a steel line with flared fittings. Just don't run the new fitting into the carb too far or it will break out the threaded part of the carb. That's experience talking. I was fortunate enough to know someone with a top part of the carb. I'll post pictures later. This can be done for less than $20 as opposed to about $70 for new rubber seals unless you break the carb.

Did a lot of bush hogging with a 2000 years ago. Good little tractor. Carb was kind of strange, updraft if I recall. Very hard to find rebuild parts for and almost impossible to find a new one.

My needle valve started leaking and the tractor would flood and gas would run out of it. Found a valve somewhere as it was working when I sold it.

If you run across a needle valve and seat, might want to grab it...if you're planning to keep the tractor, that is.
