6410 tranmisson fuse

Can you add a little information?

What trans do you have?

Does it blow while driving in one direction? Right away? Only when changing gears or direction?

Is it more than one fuse?

1st thing I would do is look at and wires going to the trans and see if there are any spots rubbed through. For that matter any wires on the tractor from the fuse panel if possible.

You also could take a meter and put one lead on where the fuse plugs in and go to the frame of the tractor and see if something is shorted to ground. You will have to do this with each socket all points the fuses plug in. This may not tell for sure though because it could only happen while moving.

Give the fuse numbers from the fuse panel that are blowing.
A blowing fuse indicates an overload, usually a wire in contact with ground.
If you rig a 12v light in place of the fuse the light will be "ON" giving the circuit a load even if a wire is grounded. Then you can search for the cause. when the light goes out, you have found your problem.

it has the electric reverser it seems to be blowing when putting it in or taking it out of park

Can u try putting a new fuse in. Put you foot on clutch and then turn ignition on whilst keeping clutch pedal down. Watch the fuse whilst lifting foot off pedal and if it blows it's the clutch sensor on bottom of trans shorting out. I've had this before. I could be wrong if so can u read description from opps book on what fuse does
