I bought the tractor new and I don't ride the clutch. I have a Ford 3600 with over 4000 hours with the original clutch still in it my dad bought new in Feb. 1977. The dealer sent his mechanic out to check it out and he said would be hard to get any help from the company because it was over 3 years old. The tractor looks like new, shed kept, washed and waxed often. I take excellent care of my machinery because it cost so much to buy. There has to be something wrong. The reason it has so few hours is because I have 3 other tractors and seems like farming profits keep getting less every year and I cut back on usage as much as possible especially with the fuel prices. I have not had not one other problem out of this tractor besides this, no oil leaks or nothing. I would highly recommend it. It pulls a Vermeer 505 baler with ease and seems to have plenty of power and the air conditioner is real cold, also the 4 wheel drive works good. The mechanic did say the new clutch to be put in it will be a lot better than this. They sell a lot of Kubotas and he said maybe 3 other clutch problems so far.
