Hi

Just bought a 2017 GC1705, the seller was not sure if the MMM is a 54'' or 60'' deck.

Can anyone tell by this number i have from the deck? As far as i know its a 60'', but im not sure. Tractor data says its supposed to be a 2326 deck, but mine is a 2325(?).

It's a 60" mower.

There are two different 60-inch decks I think. The 2325 may be the light-duty (standard) roll under deck and the 2326 (which I have) is the drive-over deck. Can you confirm which way yours mounts?

Here is two pictures of the tractor and deck. I just pulled it out from the side and back on the same way. Not sure if this is the one i can drive over.. Seller was not sure either.

Definitely NOT the drive-over deck. Yours is the roll-in/out style.

This is the 2326 - note the brackets on the front for the front wheels to get purchase and back over and the heavy-duty belt coverage/wheel path. Heavier gauge steel as well.

Thank you. I can see the difference between these two decks now. But the most important part is thats i have a 60'' deck, got about 3-3,5 acres of lawn to cut.. :)

Definitely not the drive over deck. I mow just about 6 acres and I like the 60 deck, was doing it with my Zero Turn and 54 deck until I bought my GC1705 last summer.
Drive over deck.

I have a 60" drive over and it's a really nice cut! I really enjoy cutting my 3 acre.

The guy who bought my GC1710, didn’t want the deck (54”), he arrived to pick it up right after I cut the grass and was happy I wouldn’t separate it. Said he was gonna list his JD grass cutter and use the 1710.

The 60” on the 1723 cuts even nicer.

The ones of you that have the 2326 mower deck how does it do in leaves. I have that deck on my GC1723 and it is a phenomenal mower. I am asking because I just sold an old leaf blower from my last tractor. If I rated its cut I would give it a rating of 6 out of ten. I used to have a Steiner mower and it’s cut I would give a 7 or 8 but I will rate this mower decks cut even better than that one. Ok back to leaves, Do any of you just chop up your leaves or do you find I necessary to bag and or collect them. Would just mowing over then a few times be good enough. I live out in the country so so no one sees my yard but me.

I’m sure it would do fine, but with 7 mature maples and 14 other deciduous trees I’ve never tried it, lol. I windrow them with the back pack blower and push them into the tree line with the FEL.

When I do cut grass and leaves, prior to the big clean up, it mulches them nicely.

Well I have well over 80 wild cherry trees in my front yard alone not counting the oaks, hickories, maples and some new pine trees. I have been blowing them back into the tree line as well and just let them rot. I was just wondering because I have access to a brand new toro walk behind blower but I really don’t want to buy another blower if I don’t have to.
