Mowing 60 inch 425 mower belt

Hi everyone - I know we have probably discussed this - I will check back through old posts -

but does anyone have a replacement part number for the belt? like from Gates or another belt manufacturer - or do you have to go to PT?

140 hrs on my brother in laws 425 - mostly mowing but
I would not have expected the belt to go that quick - looked perfect in the Spring

I WOULD TAKE THE BELT TO A DISTRIBUTOR OF LAWN EQUIPMENT, OR INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY CO. I HAVE GONE THROUGH SEVERAL VENDERS OF BELTS SUCH AS GATES, GOODYEAR,LESCO, AND NOW I AM USING A DAYTON COMMERCIAL BELT, THE CORDS ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BELT. THIS IS THE TUFFEST BELT THAT I HAVE FOUND SO FAR. IT'S A MATTER OF TRIAL AND ERROR. MOST COMPANYS DON,T PUT THE BEST BELTS ON THIER EQUIP BECAUSE THE WANT YOU TO ORDER FROM THEM. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION.

This Thread identifies the belt as an A 120.

I had premature failure of the belt on my PT mower deck. I think a contributing factor was age. The serial number on the deck suggests that it was actually built several years ago and had presumably been sitting in storage.

I ended up going with the Dayton 6L260G from Granger. This is an AX120 belt. Just put it on. Pic attached.
