60 box blade on GC1720?

Uncharted territory AFAIK. The boxblade should be wider than the tractor width, so if adding 6" with the spacers, I would go with the 60". You can always change the aggressiveness of the blade by adjusting the angle. If you're that concerned about slope stability, might want to look into liquid filling the rear tires. Best source of weight down low.

So, I'm still waiting on the dealer to get a 4' box blade in... I've been wondering if I can make it work. I just ordered the bro-tek 3" wheel spacers (I don't have a MMM). Wondering if with the width if I should just keep the 5' box and use it? Think with the wider wheel base it would work better with the wider box? I wonder if I got the 4' box if it would be narrower than the wheels now? Anybody have a similar setup? Thanks for any input!
Andy

I have the County Line 48 Inch box blade and its as wide as my tractor. If you added 3 to 6 inches then the 5 foot BB would be better.

I have the ABI 60" land plane. Works great but and it's too much to pull when the box is even part way full of material. 4wd Low range WOT and it looses traction or won't move at all if there is too much material. I do have turff tires.
