If you have ever skined a hog or deer near a YJ nest you kmow they love meat. They will swarm the exposed meat and sting you as you try to skin the animal. Makes the already tedious job a lot tougher

I remember seeing a picture of a yellow jacket nest in an old abandoned station wagon, it took up the entire inside of the car. There was also a story on the news a few years back about an abandoned house in Arizona or New Mexico that yellowjackets had taken over the whole house. They were in the walls,attic, and under the floor. The authorities were afraid some kids might stumble across it and they had an exterminator come in and get rid of them. There was a video on youtube of a giant yellowjacket nest in a swamp in Florida or Georgia several years ago that was almost as big as the one recently discovered.
