6' or 7' rear blade for Kioti DK35SE

Hi, all I'm looking to get a rear blade for my DK35 tractor, and not sure what size to get. It's main purpose would be snow plowing, minor road grading, and ditch clearing. Would a 7' blade be too big or heavy for this tractor. I can get a one for $575 that tilts, and off sets. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the overall width of the rear tires is 66"-72", I would recommend an 84" blade. Check out our 84" 6-way Value Scrape blades which feature tilt(15 and 30degree), angle(7forward/7reverse) and offset adjustments(3 left/3 right).

The DK 35 will handle the 7' blade, No problem.

I would likely go with an 84" as Travis suggests. If you have a 72" blade and 72" wide stance on your tires, once you angle the blade, the blade will not cover your path. You can get better finish grading with less work out of a wider blade as well.

Your machine should handle an 84" fine as well although the longer blade will allow you to more easily accumulate more weight to pull, but if there is too much weight just lift the blade a bit and make a second pass. There are times a 4' blade can get enough resistance the same would be needed, so don't think of it being able to hold enough weight to hold your machine back as being too big for your machine; only thing too big is the current load. You'll find you'll need less "second passes" with a longer blade overall.
