Thick Brush yes no problem Thick mattted grass yes but slower and keep your blades sharp.

My TO-30 pulls a 6 ft rotary cutter full cut though thick grass with no problem. Your 135 has a bit more power at the pto so it should work well for you. As a rule of thumb, 5 to hp per foot of cutter width is plenty of power for a rotary cutter.
