If this has been posted here before, let me apologize, but it has to be a classic. I got these photos in an email from a buddy yesterday, and it's taken me 24 hours to stop laughing.
The first picture shows the 5th wheel all rigged and ready to roll. Probably had 160 psi in the rear tires, but heck, that made for a smooth tow.
The second picture shows just how safety concious the fellow was with his safety chain and S-hook to back up the little tailgate cables. Also, those 5/16 sheet metal screws did a great job of attaching the hitch to the tailgate. Safety first, you know.
Finally, he really should get the engineering excellence award for the way he used the Class III hitch to shore up under the tailgate with that 4x4. Notice how he used a nice 12" square piece of plywood to spread the weight on the bottom of the tailgate. He also whittled that 4x4 down to a nice dowel to go through the trailer ball mounting hole. You know, you just can't be too safe when you are towing in Utah.
