553 Loader Digging Teeth

Anyone ever use the digging teeth that can be used on some of the JD 553 loader buckets? (They are part number W52238 in the JD parts catalog).

I'm wondering if they work good or not....and if they do work, what they work good with.

What kinds of work were you considering?

If you explain what your plans are - other's can offer their experience's and discuss the pros and cons of using a loader with digging teeth.

I was thinking about biting into some clay; maybe a pile but more the ground itself. That, and I was thinking that by others' replying I might discover other uses for something I hadn't thought about. Thanks for asking.
