553 562 563 673 H240 H260 H310 H340 H480 Loaders fits same JD mounting brackets

I put my H260 Loader on my other tractor that had a 563 Loader on it & it works great.

The H260 is a Good bit stronger but also heavier than the 563.

My research shows 553 562 563 673 H240 H260 H310 H340 & H480 Loaders all fitting the same tractor brackets.

True Not all Tractors will be heavy enough to handle listed Loaders & hose lengths may not work, but they should fit the brackets.

The H260 Lower Brackets Angles UP :



The 563 Lower Brackets are Level :



Both upper loader mounting connections are in same location though.

Different angles might be do to different tractor models, or are these the same tractor model with just different loaders?

5093E & 5101E which is same exact tractors.

Maybe the leverage ratio reacts differently idk

Or an engineer figured out it took less metal to build the newer brackets and save $$ for Deere on each unit.

The H260 is a Lot Heavier, Bigger Cylinders, Stronger & puts the bucket farther out front : so I'd think the Lighter & Shorter 563 would safely carry just as much weight

I run all 4 tires completely fluid filled for traction & ballast.
I use a 3pt lift type MX10 Cutter on hills w/o the loader.

The newer H260 Loader only lifts 6"'higher than the older 563

Has it been tested that 673 loader mounts will also fit a john deere H310? On the picture it shows the 673 mounts have what looks like a locking groove and the newer mounts do not have this?

I had a 553/563 loader & it fit my H240/H260 brackets fine.
I’m pretty sure the 673 is the same as 553/563.

My friend Sold his H310 loader because it was too long & heavy for his tractor.
His H260 fit perfectly :thumbsup:

The tab circled in you pic is only a guide for the lower pin when installing the loader.
