545D starter/solenoid removal help

I am trying to replace the solenoid. Do I need to remove the starter? I am having difficulty getting to one of the back bolts of the solenoid. I went to remove the fuel filter and water seperator housing, to make room to pull the starter, but I do not know how to shut the fuel off. Does this housing need to be removed and if so, how do I shut the fuel off? I found a valve of some sort on a fuel line. But, it is on a hard line and another hard line is right next to it and they interfere with each other when I turn the valve. Is there a shut off on the pump itself? Thanks guys.

there should be a valve under neath the tank where the fuel line comes from the tank but u dont have to remove the filters are housing to remove the starter

You think I should be able to get it out without removing the filters? Do I have to remove the starter or can I remove just the solenoid? I have pics below. THANKS

Boy, they jammed the fuel filters right in there, probably for protection? I'd siphon the fuel from the tank and rig up a chute of some sort for the inevitable spill. I don't think you can remove the solenoid unless the starter is on the bench - you still can't reach the pin that pushes the fork. Having the fuel filters out gives you a good chance to clean everything, and you don't have much choice.
