Hi all, I hope someone can help me. My transmission warning light stays on after the engine is running. I disconnected the temp sensor and the light went out so I thought it was a bad sensor (the machine was cold so obviously it couldn't have hot fluid). I reconnected everything and planned on picking up a new sensor after the holiday. I then noticed that the light will go out anytime I am in reverse and sometimes while using the bucket under heavy load. This really confused me and now I'm not sure about the temp sensor being faulty. I checked the charge pressure today and that is fine but I don't know where to go from there. The machine sounds and works fine but I am nervous to really work it until I find the problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Just to let everyone know, the metal tab where the screw attaches to the trans temp sensor had corroded through. Apparently I moved the wire enough to break the connection but not completely break the tab off. I replaced it today and it is working fine.
