Shut it off and when I went to start it again it won't start. I have checked all the connections all the lights work and come on but when you go to start it - nothing. New battery already and is good, connections there are clean so the only think I can think of is the brake safety switch but I have no idea of the location - anyone know where it is? Any other ideas that it might be? Seat safety switch? Is there any other safety switches? This tractor has driven me crazy. Had the **** drive shaft come off last week which broke a hydro hose, the whole tranny rebuild issue and now this- be ready to get rid of this tractor soon. Thanks for any recommendations.

Check to make sure the PTO switch isn't on. Brake pedal switch - sometimes requires extra force to make contact. Or check under seat for that switch continuity. Should be one of the 3.....

If you follow the linkage, I think it's nder the center tunnel with a button or clip. I know some of the 5000's I've owned you have to really press the brake pedal, where the tab is bent a bit. Shoudn't be too hard to find....
