5210 John Deere will not start

I have a 5210 John Deere that will start when it has not been used for the previous 12 hours. When the tractor has been running for more than an hour and is switched off it usually has to sit for at least 12 hours before it will startup. When I turn the key nothing happens the starter doesn't make a noise. The PTO is used a lot on this tractor could it be the safety switch sticking that is associated with the tractor not being able to start while the PTO is engaged? This also happens when the PTO is not engaged which makes me question that this could be the issue.

The fact that nothing happens when you turn the key sounds like an electrical problem. Interesting it starts after seating for 12 hours. I have attached a picture of the starting system. With the engine off and using an ohm meter, start by testing if the PTO switch and the neutral switch are ok.

If test good then with the key in the run position, make sure you have power going through the switches. Then test the start relay it is located behind the instrument cluster.
