5203 Tach

I ordered a new Tachometer sending unit for a John Deere 5203 but the O-ring that came with it is three times the diameter of the sending unit, anyone have an idea where it goes.

The speed sensor comes with an o-ring, so I would say the wrong one was packaged with what you purchased. I would think the old o-ring should be ok.
