Did the 50 hour maintenance on my S24 today. No problems to fix, just L/O/F and bolt inspection.
Glad I did this as it appears that there was no lube in the front axle as delivered!
The oil change was grotesque. There are two oil drain plugs as the front driveshaft splits the oil pan down the middle. The drain plugs are 22mm bolts, but they had so much paint on them that finding the correct size wrench that fit was problematic. I did eventually find that there are two access holes in the loader frame to get at the drains so you can use a socket.
I hope whoever installed the oil filter gets really bad diarrhea. The location of the oil filter is bad enough with really poor access, but did you have to tighten the filter to 798 ft/lbs??? Cretin. And the dipstick is in an equally rotten location. Fortunately the filler is easy to get at, but pour slowly - it will back up if you pour too fast.
No problems, sips fuel, and gets the job done - I really like this tractor!!
