Has anybody bought one of these? I would really like to have one of these to go with the 8560 I am going to buy. I looked at the woods backhoe but have not priced one. The 511 I priced was almost 10000 dollars. That is expensive, are they reliable and trouble free. It is something I would not use a lot but it would be nice to have. That is a lot of money, I hate to buy a used one or used anything. I always get burned and have to spend more to get it repaired.

The 509/511 are buildt for Mahindra by Bradco attachments, check them out, they are top of the line machines. Then price out a comparable Woods and you will find them priced competitively.

I had a 511 on a mahindra some years back,, The 511 is a top notch hoe, the only problem I had at the time was the 511 needs 17 GPM to operate correctly,, My machine had 7 or something like that, A new and improved PTO pump and reservoir took care of the problem,,, If this new tractor has 17 gpm not counting steering side, you will do fine with a bradco hoe,,

I'lve got a 511 Bradco to go with my 6000. Get the PTO pump. You'll be able to run that hoe all day at 1100-1200 rpm, whereas you will be way up the throttle if you run it off the hyd. By the way, I believe the 511 requires 11gpm rather than 17. If you get one, get both a 12" and a 24" bucket. I use the 12" for most everything, but when you need to move a lot of dirt, you'll be glad you have the 24 as well. As far as the price, you'll get what you pay for....if you find something for less, you'll most likely get less...BobG in VA

bradco has cut back, valving specs,, when I had the mahindra 4110, a very early model, the particular serial numbered hoe that I had required 17gpm at that time,, And this was determined by many phone calls to Bradco. Yes, I believe today it is 11. Also, I think, and am not positive, that mine was probably one of the few 4110's to have a 511. Today, I understand Mahindra will only allow 509 on a 4110. Also, the early 4110 had only 7 gpm and the need for the pto pump became pure necessity... Still, the bradco hoe was near bullet proof, and I also had 12/24 buckets

Thanks to all who replyed, I just got my new 8560 home. It is an impressive machine. The backhoes are over priced but I need one. I will have to wait on one though. No money left to buy one.

I think you would find a Woods 10 to 11 ft. hoe w/sub frame mount, to be similarly priced or even more.

I got a 511 on my 2007 6520 with a 11.4 gpm pump.:) I have to run full RPM to best use out of my 511.:( I know of a 7520 with under 500 hours in town I thought about buying for $19,000, just to get that 17 gpm pump. Only problems I have had with my 511 were operator induced.

Brandi, are you really considering that 7520?

Well Brian, the Beast just keeps sitting there hollering at me. It belongs to the ex service manager where I bought the Big RED Beast. He wanted $24,000 and has came down to $19,000. He used it to pull a rake or a baler. It is a 2007 like mine. My subframe would be a direct bolt up. Some other guy had it awhile and bought it back, after he bent (abused it) the bucket upper lip in the middle. Have you ever used the high pto rpm on your 7520? What would you use it for? A tiller?
I am not really in the market for another tractor. But I saw a 7 yard dump Ford with a Cummins 5.9 (like my Ram's) for $10,000. I missed that buy by one day. It would be sweet to have one to haul to that nitch market that does not need 14 yards of gravel or crushed concrete, along with my own use.
hugs, Brandi
