5085M Error Codes?

I don't know of anywhere you can get software to "talk" to John Deere tractors other than getting dealer to connect to them. I'm sure it is only a matter of time before someone develods something. Deere won't sell the program to anyone but dealers. There has been some talk of a limited function version of Service Advisor for customers, but don't know if that will become reality. Your dealer should be willing to print out a list of all possible codes and what they mean.(it is a long list for IT4 engines) If you post your code numbers here, I will be happy to help as much as I can from here.

I believe this was the one I saw the Deere dealer using. It covers lots of ag equipment but its a pretty steep yearly update fee.

Sorry, I did not. We ironed out the wrinkles in that machine, and I changed careers to ag commodities. Just signing back on because I bought a JD 332 for the home place.

I guess a few months delay isn't as bad as several years - it has been a very long time since logging in!

Happy to have a green machine to fuss over and help us on our 2 acres with yard and garden. Got a model 80 cart as a worker, looking for rototiller 30".
