NH Workmaster 75
So I have gotten pricing from thee John Deere dealers ($48K), and done some online comparisons for New Holland, Kubota and M-F. Seems comparably equipped (55 PTO HP, 12 spd trans, cab, MFWD, loader, rear remotes), the Deere is $7-8 K less than the others? Only model I specifically remember is NH Workmaster 65. Can this be correct? Always believed Deere were higher due to the "expensive green paint"

I priced a 5075e also and ended up buying a Kubota M7060. The JD was a little less money but the Kubota had a few things that were important to me that JD said they couldn't add, the K had more pto hp and better hydraulics. What pushed me to the K was the JD dealer bad mouthing Kubota and the fact that Kubota is made in Japan vs the JD made in India.

I bought my NH Workmaster 75 at $46,000. JD wanted $48,000 for the 5075E and Kubota wanted $51,000 for the M7060. I added third function, R4s, and wheel weights.

Just for comparison sake- I bought a Case 75A in January for $43K. Cab, loader, MFD, all kinds of options. 75HP at the engine, 60ish at the PTO. I've seen similar deals to this on Tractorhouse.com.

The E series will be less than the M series, price a 5075M

The 5075E is built in India, but it is still a John Deere factory. Yes it is built cheaper with less frills to compete for the lower priced market. They are still pretty darn good tractors and I think a lot of owners here will attest to that. If you need more frills, transmission options, and hydraulic capacity then you can move up to the M and R series. Both of those probably spec out better than most of the competition and they carry a price tag to match. Personally,as a Deere fan and long time tech for a dealer, I wish Deere wouldn,t try to compete for the lower priced market. For many years they built their reputation on building only premium quality best of the best products. I guess to compete in today's global markets, this is the way they felt they needed to go.

After looking at Kubota, MF, JD and New Holland, I made a deal for a Workmaster 75 for 43,500. Better cab, more power, than 5075e. Plus JD dealers in 75 mile radius of me are all part of the same organization, just don't like not being able to shop for a better deal at different dealers. I bought my 5303 at one of the last independents in the area, got it for $4-5 less than the green mafia quotes, but they were bullied into selling out.

I agree. I remember years ago going to the JD dealer and seeing a row lawn tractors a different shade of green. IIRC they had "Sabre" or something like that on them. I asked parts guy what a JD dealer doing selling them. He said JD wanted a piece of that pie too. I don't know if it was the dealer who brought in these as another brand, or if JD is building them to compete at an even lower price point?
