I am looking at a new 5065e PowerReverser, MFWD, open station, FEL with bucket, skid steer quick attach option, telescoping links, rear work light. I'm being quoted right at $34,000. Extra remote would be another $1,000. This is the tier 3 model, which I want, and there aren't many left. Is this price within a fair range and if not any experiences with better deals on this model?

Getting accurate comparisons on units that are limited to dealer inventory can be difficult. The dealers are well aware that pre final tier4 units are in demand as well so they are not always as inclined to deal so long as they feel that they can still sell it in a reasonable amount of time. That said, the price does not sound unreasonable. Retail on a 2015, not considering tire upgrades, is $34,000 before pre-delivery, freight, loader, light kit. Is the loader a 500 series or current H series loader?

Then I think you are doing ok, if it was the 512 loader I would go back and ask for more $. But the H240 was at a minimum over $2,000 more. Add some more if a self level loader. Not saying the 512 was a bad loader, just not as expensive.

Thank you for the comments. We have a deal, they reduced extra rear remote a little more and agreed to add the good stop leak slime to all four tires and weld chain hooks to the bucket. I will post pics in a new thread when it's delivered. It's exciting after using an old IH 574 with no differential lock for the last ten years. I'm glad to have found one without tier 4 final, hopefully it will outlive me.
