I am new to tractors, 51 hrs on my 5065e with no complaints. I don't really understand how the shuttle works but want some advice on operation. When you are doing loader work using the 2-R synchronized feature, shifting to the opposite direction you are moving before stopping, does that wear synchronizers out sooner? It is a nice feature but seems I have read that it may be harder on transmission? When in A range you have to practically stop anyway to get clutch all the way in due to moving so slowly with Ag tires. But in B range you can still be rolling pretty good and shift in opposite direction before stopping . For longer life of transmission, is it better to stop completely before shifting? Thanks
